These members take their collective talents; creativity, organization and innovation, to help bring Nico S. Rubio’s dream of celebrating Tap Dance through performance, education and community alive. Here are the people helping turn dreams into incredible experiences:

Nico S. Rubio

Founder | Artistic Director | Choreographer

Nico S. Rubio is responsible for all aspects of every single production, performance and educational program. He has created a unique blend of traditional tap dance and modern day artistry which he believes will continue to captivate audiences and inspire dancers around the globe with his use of rhythm, storytelling and collaboration.

As a creative leader, with every new project Nico continues to promote creativity, authenticity and the power of community through the performing arts.

Elara Voss

Executive Producer & Strategic Partnerships

Elara oversees long term planning and development of projects, production development and creative partnerships. Elara works with arts organizations, theaters, festivals and educational institutions to develop meaningful collaborations that provide opportunities for increased community engagement and additional opportunities for performances.

Elara’s strategic approach and love for the arts ensure that every project reaches it highest level of potential.

Orion Vale

Performance & Tour Director

Orion manages live productions, tour logistics, venue management and schedules performers. Orion’s ability to run multiple aspects of a show at once allows him to deliver professional, on-time and high-quality performances.

Orion excels in fast paced environments where creativity meets organization.

Selene Arbour

Education & Community Engagement Manager

Selene directs educational programming, develops workshops and community outreach programs. Selene partners with local dance studios, universities, schools and non-profit organizations to develop fun educational programming that inspires young and old dancers alike of all levels.

Selene is committed to developing inclusive artistic spaces where creativity and self-confidence grow together.

Cai Mercer

Visual Storyteller & Media Director

Cai uses photography, video production and social media to capture the energy and artistry of every performance. Whether capturing live performances or producing online content Cai creates visually engaging stories about Nico’s work that reflect the passion, rhythm and authenticity that defines Nico’s style.

Cai’s creative vision turns memorable moments into lasting visual memories.
