Rubio is a passionate advocate for preserving the rich heritage of tap dance, while also helping it evolve into the future. Over the past decade and a half, Nico S. Rubio has traveled throughout the United States and worldwide sharing his love for tap dance. His performances blend classic rhythmic tap with elements of modernism to create unique performances that honor history while giving birth to new forms of artistic expression.
Founder of SHUFFLE LiiiFE Productions; Nico has developed and directed numerous performances, educational programs and collaborative works to celebrate the culture and tradition of tap dance. He teaches Students to find their own unique artistic voice, while maintaining respect for those who helped shape this beautiful form of art.
